Pen's Bungalows, Thong Nai Pan Yai

Pen's Bungalows is on Thong Nai Pan Yai beach next to Central Cottage. There is a good range of bungalows on offer at Pen's Bungalows. The cheaper wooden bungalows have fan, balcony, hammock and cold water shower. The more expensive concrete bungalows have air-con, hot water, TV and fridge. There is a choice between 2 bed bungalows (double and single) and 1 bed bungalows. Some of the concrete air-con bungalows are directly on the beach. There is usually a minimum stay requirement of 7 days.

Facing the beach there's a restaurant which offers a wide selection of Thai and Western dishes. An American breakfast costs 130 THB, a fruit shake 50 THB, and small pizzas between 180 THB and 270 THB. They also have a large cocktail list (100 THB to 150 THB).

Thong Nai Pan Yai, which means 'big bay of Pan', has a bigger beach with more room behind the beach. This natural advantage allows for more spacing between the bungalows than on Thong Nai Pan Noi ('little bay of Pan'). Pen's bungalows takes full advantage of the extra space.

There's a big massage sala behind the reception and restaurant area, and you can hire kayaks. There are a few basic computers with internet connections where you pay per minute of use. Pen's have recently allowed H2O Scuba School to put up a branch reception next to the restaurant.
