Dreamland Resort, Thong Nai Pan Yai (Updated March 2011) Dreamland Resort is at the northern end of Thong Nai Pan Yai beach. It`s a big operation with plenty of bungalows near the beach, a shop, a restaurant and an internet shop; and as of 2009, a big swimming pool with bar. The bungalows are set in rows adjacent to the beach and around the pool. All the accommodation is in good condition. Every bungalow comes with a furnished balcony and hot water. There are family rooms with 2 beds, and recently Dreamland have started offering deluxe rooms with sofas, flat screen TVs as well as A/C and hot water. The big reception building is noteworthy for its peculiar art deco-like columns. The restaurant is on the beach. Shade is provided by some impressively big trees. Attached to Dreamland Resort is Dreamland Divers. It`s a PADI certified dive shop that offers dive courses as well as recreational dives. It`s also possible to hire out kayaks and bodyboards. |
