Thong Nai Pan Noi | Baan Panburi Village, Thong Nai Pan Noi Baan Panburi is a very popular place to stay and eat. All the bungalows are set in a well maintained garden and are close to the beach. The single 'Beachfront House' and the 'Ocean Huts' have cable TV, hot water and air-con. Baan Panburi has recently increased its prices using the excuse that there is now "pool access". The pool is tiny and is used mostly by local kids. The attached restaurant, "The Beach club" has plenty of seating on the beach, offers BBQs every night and has a happy hour from 5pm to 6.30pm. During the high season Baan Panpuri puts on free Thai dancing shows and firework displays. I don't believe Joe Cummings (from 'The Lonley Planet') really described the food as, "The best outside of Bangkok" but it's a great place to watch the sunset and enjoy a cocktail.
