Candlehut Resort has 40 air-con bungalows with TV, hot water and open-air bath around a swimming pool. The resort is set in a spacious grass area next to the beach. The resort has a restaurant and bar and will organize fishing trips and Thai massage. Somewhat run down and only deserving 3.5 stars.

Havana Beach Resort is the best hotel on Thong Nai Pan Yai beach. It has hotel rooms with air-con, hot water, fridge and satellite TV. Most of the rooms also have a bathtub as well as a shower. Free wifi through out the resort. Havana also has a pool, restaurant, beach bar and spa.

Paradise Garden Resort

There are a few private villas and bungalows for long term rental in Yai. Paradise Garden Resort does do short rentals but since it is on the road and doesn't do any advertising it gets mostly those people who have visited before and who want to stay for a month or longer. It has concrete air-con bungalows and a small restaurant.

Sandee Bungalow

Sandee Bungalow used to be a legendary backpacker hangout. Now the owners run it mostly for staff for the resorts and the occasional passing customer. Sandee Bungalow has air-con rooms as well as cheap bungalows. The staff are to be found in the internet place opposite. 'Sandee's' is on the corner where the beach road turns to go adjacent to the beach, near the entrance to Rasananda.

Tapan Noi is currently closed. The old bungalows on the rocks have been koncked down. New smarter bungalows will be open late 2013.

Phuwadee Resort

Phuwadee Resort has undergone a few name changes over the years. It is the 'pink bungalows' place in the middle of the beach. Phuwadee Resort has good value air-con bungalows with hot water shower, fridge, safety box and TV. The resort also has a small pool and a restaurant.

Thong Tapan Resort is located at the northern end of the beach. It has a couple of bungalows on the beach. Most of the accommodation is on a hill just behind the beach. There are recently renovated wooden bungalows with air-con, balcony and hot water. Thong Tapan is a family run resort and popular with regular returnees to the beach.

Anantara Rasananda is the only luxury resort directly on the beach. It has a series of beachfront villas with private gardens, salas and plunge pool. Rooms have rain showers, iPod docking system and satellite TV. There is also a communal pool, restaurant and spa. Rasananda is the most chic place to stay in Thong Nai Pan, and also the most expensive.
